Is microdermabrasion safe for all skin types?
Yes, microdermabrasion and Hydro can be used for all skin types on all areas of the body and face.
How do I get clients to come in and try the treatment during the 2 weeks?
At SkinBase™, we provide comprehensive training and marketing support that starts even before your two-week trial begins, to help you be successful.
You’ll receive our full suite of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, invitations, incentive cards and more to make sure current and potential clients are well-informed about the many benefits your SkinBase treatments have to offer and encourage appointments.
Are there any side effects to the treatment?
Following treatment, the skin may feel tight and experience mild redness. Therefore it’s important to recommend that client’s use a high-quality moisturizer for after-care. These effects normally subside within 24 hours after treatment.
How many treatments should a client have?
We recommend a course of 6 – 8 hydro or microdermabrasion treatments based on your client’s skincare needs. Clients with acne or acne scarring might need more microdermabrasion treatments. We also recommend a monthly maintenance treatment following the initial course to help maintain the results achieved.
What types of products should I use to complement the SkinBase™ treatments?
At SkinBase™ we offer a professional range of products that are formulated to complement your SkinBase™ microdermabrasion and SkinBase Hydro treatments. Crafted to be gentle and soothing to the skin, our Essential Range is vegan, cruelty-free and free of methylisothiazolinone (MI) that can irritate the skin.
All products used during and after microdermabrasion should be soothing and should not contain any of the following: AHA’s, Glycolics, Retinol, Botanicals, Essential Oils.
How often should clients have microdermabrasion and Hydro treatments?
MD Treatments are usually performed every 7 to 10 days for optimal results during a course. For hydro we recommend every 2-4 weeks.
How quickly will my clients see results?
Microdermabrasion delivers immediate, visible results and with each subsequent treatment their skin will continue to improve, fine lines and wrinkles are softened, pigmentation issues are diminished and skin becomes firmer and more lifted.
The power of Hydro is in the ingredients and these powerful serums will infuse the skin and work gently on your clients skin concerns over a course whilst leaving skin feeling instantly rejuvenated.
Do you offer training?
Yes. We offer training and once you have completed your training, if you have any other questions regarding the treatment process our Educators are available to offer advice for as long as you have the machine. You will also have access to our Professionals group on Facebook, nearly 3,000 Estheticians offer their advice and support.
Is the 2 week trial really free?
Yes, the trial is 100% free.
These 2 weeks allow you to see the results for yourself and decide, without any pressure, if you think the MD Hydro will work in your business. You also get to keep 100% of the earnings you make from using the machine during this period.
