Great time to get some updated reviews

Now is the perfect time to ask your clients to show their support for you and get some up-to-date reviews and recommendations you can use in your marketing.

Facebook Reviews

One of the first places potential clients will look before picking a new salon or Aesthetician is on your Facebook page. Lots of positive and recent reviews will help to make the decision easier for a potential client looking to try somewhere new. Up-to-date reviews show your current standards are high and clients are happy to recommend you. Don’t worry if you have had the occasional less than glowing review, these things happen and everyone knows a disgruntled customer is more likely to leave a review. How you handle and respond to these is key;

1. Always respond to a bad review – this allows a potential client to see how you handle something like this.

2. Remain calm and professional in your response to demonstrate your professionalism.

Testimonials

As well as having reviews about you and your business, written testimonials specifically about the treatments are a great marketing tool. Make sure clients are happy for you to use these for promotional purposes and these honest reviews can really help to sell your products and services. You can create promotional posts to put alongside product shots or treatment pictures with these testimonials.

Case Studies

Even more powerful than a written recommendation is a before and after picture. A real-life case study as visual proof of both your skills and the product/service can’t be beaten! If you can get your client to write a testimonial to use alongside it as well, even better! The key to this is making sure these pictures are well taken. We cannot stress this enough. Mediocre pictures make it hard to see where the differences are. The lighting needs to be the same, the positioning, the scale, the only thing that should be different is their skin, or brows, or lashes, or whatever it is you are trying to show, other than that the pictures should be identical. If the results are subtle you might want to highlight the area, with either arrows or a colored box around the area.
