IPL for vascular lesions

SkinBase IPL isn’t just used for removing hair. It has a number of filters which can be interchanged to treat different skin issues. Pigmentation, acne, thread veins, fine lines and wrinkles, can all be treated with SkinBase IPL. Here we have an example of SkinBase IPL used to improve the appearance of veins in the legs. If the veins are too deep then treatment will not be successful. Here you can see considerable improvement in the appearance of the leg veins for this client.

SkinBase IPL treatment for Vascular lesions

The filter used to treat thread veins and broken capillaries targets the haemoglobin. This causes the vein to gradually break down over a number of days until it has disappeared. Results are seen quite quickly, typically just 1-3 treatments are required. This before and after image shows a significant difference on a large area of extensive broken veins after a course of 4 treatments performed once a month for 4 months.
